Pokéjam: Pokémon Basketball Game, Free Online

Pokéjam is a fan-made basketball game: draft five Pokémon, shoot with a timing meter, and use type matchups as contact physics. This site is the manual — the ratings, the draft maths and every team you will face.

How a Pokéjam game runs

01

Draft a starting five

Every pick is a position. Cover all five and the game hands you a lineup bonus; leave a hole and someone plays out of position all night.

02

Play the possession

Hold shoot, release on green. Turbo to the rim for a dunk, shove to knock a ball loose, and cash the special bar for a signature move.

03

Win the season

In Franchise, nine weeks decide the seed. Starters tire, the bench matters, and the four best records make the playoffs.

Three numbers that decide a draft

The roster is not balanced by position, and the overall rating is not the same formula everywhere. Both facts change who you should take first.

Pick a way in

Eighteen types, eighteen signature moves

144 of 291 Pokémon carry a second type, which is why shoves are rarely a clean win. Water is the most common type in the game and Ghost the rarest — 5 players, all of them awkward to draft around.

Good to know

Free, no account

The game runs in the browser and asks for nothing but a team name.

Saves live in the game

Franchise progress is stored by pokejam.xyz, not by this site.

Runs in a frame

If the frame misbehaves, open the game in its own tab — it needs real storage for online play.

Start with the part you need

Pokéjam is a fan project. This guide is independent of it: the numbers come from the player data the game ships with, the judgements are ours, and the site never hosts the game itself.
